Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Abu Dhabi, UAE on Tuesday, June 28. He received a warm welcome by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Abu Dhabi airport.

Narendra Modi landed in Abu Dhabi, UAE on Tuesday, June 28. He received a warm welcome by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Abu Dhabi airport.

Expressing gratitude for the gesture, PM Modi tweeted, “I am touched by the special gesture of my brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, of coming to welcome me at Abu Dhabi airport. My gratitude to him.”

He is travelling to Germany to attend the G7 summit, to be held on June 26 and 27, and will travel to the UAE on June 28 to pay his condolences on the passing away of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the former president of the Gulf nation.
